Pretty boxes....

I thought I would share with you a little craft project I did with my cousin a while back. We took several paper mache boxes in rounds and squares and covered them in designer scrapbooking paper...First we cut to fit and then used Modge Podge to glue the paper into place. You can also glue coordinating ribbon around them for a more texured look. After the glue dried thoroughly we sandpapered the edges of each box. They turned out ever so lovely. I had intended to use them for Holiday decorating but the prints were so versatile I decided to use them year round. I just love the colors!
These boxes are wonderful for storing crafting odds and ends or use in the bathroom for storing make-up and toiletries. They look good just about anywhere...so if you have a left over scrapbooking paper that you love...this is a wonderful way to use up your scraps:-)

On a different note, a few weeks ago I start growing Sunflowers in pots from seedling and my little lovelies have started to sprout...I am such a proud Sunflower Mama!! I am smiling from ear to ear! I hope to be officially initiated into the Green Thumbers Club soon....well...that is if I can keep these stubborn herb plants alive;)

Grow my little darlings....Grow, Grow, GROW!!

Namaste,
Jennifer Renee
